Laid Back Sunday Morning

This is what we had time for when the kids slept well overnight and we are in a church-skipping kinda mood lately. Mornings have not been our strong suit the past 6 weeks or so. Today was a positive change.

Thankful!

No pictures to post. I was busy sleeping! Griffin slept peacefully until 4:30 this morning before his first night terror/wake up session! He was restless after but we did get him to snooze with us until a few minutes after 7a. I'm still tired but I'll take 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep!

I'm pooped after 4 days cooped up with a sick kid. This is me, attempting to make healthy choices, having dinner by myself because everyone else ate frozen pizza when they were hungry at 4:40. (SIGH!) I'm reading a book and ignoring the argument between the 35yr old and 2yr old downstairs and too loud disney channel in the next room. (Double SIGH!)

Memorable Day!

It was a big day for Peyton. She lost her first tooth at school today. She's been waiting for months and hoping she'd lose one at school! She bit too hard into a corn dog at lunch and knocked it loose and I guess it fell out in class a couple hours later. They made a pretty special deal of it, she got a special necklace, her name on the board and the tooth came home in a dated envelope. She's actually asking when we can all go to bed so the tooth fairy can come! It was so fun to hear her come in the house so happy and calling "Hey mom!" She is so proud and excited. The tooth is so unbelievably small! It wasn't even the loose one we knew about! Big day for all of us!

Milestones?

He's interested in his new car unders. I'm just not quite ready to agree to trying them out at 100% yet!
